How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then turn on the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that gets full sun exposure, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do You Live in a Winter Region?

It may not be as convenient, but you can install solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from two to nine meters, perfect for a heavily shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why Isn’t My Solar Light Working Anymore?

Usually, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly see why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the issue, but this is less likely.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So, you can charge your solar lights outside of direct sunlight. However, the light will be weaker and won’t last as long.
