How does solar lighting work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from three to six meters, great for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp isn’t working?

Typically, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries don’t charge or hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the cause, but this is highly unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and last for a shorter period of time.
