How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day and charge the batteries, which then power the light during the night. As solar lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your location?

Although it may be less convenient, you can still install solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We offer solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to six meters, which is ideal for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintery region, your solar lights will still function but with reduced intensity.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Typically, the most common cause of malfunctioning solar lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold the energy properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery to quickly determine why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar panel module to be the cause of the issue.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So, you can recharge your solar lights in locations without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense, and the duration of lighting will be shorter.
