How does a solar light work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I have a very shaded yard?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights, even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by wire that can range from three to nine meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar light is not working?

Commonly, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar energy panel is the cause, but this is highly unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and the light will not last as long.
