How do solar lights work?

The new generation photovoltaic cells absorb solar light during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight available?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from two to seven meters, great for areas with little sunlight. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar lights will still work but they will be weaker.

My solar light is not working?

Commonly, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Batteries often fail to charge or hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar module to be the cause.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will not last as long.
