How does solar lighting work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells stores solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they must be placed in an area that gets full sun exposure, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you simply have a very shady courtyard?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from two to six meters, perfect for a dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Commonly, the cause of a malfunctioning solar light is the battery. Often, the batteries fail to charge or retain the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar lamp isn’t working anymore. It is also possible that the solar module is the issue, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a windowpane. So, you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be dimmer and will not last as long.
