Which solar light should you choose for your garden?

How does a solar lamp work?

Modern photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then light up the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your location?

It’s not as simple, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to nine meters, ideal for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My solar lamp isn’t working anymore?

Usually, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the issue, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and will not last as long.
