What solar lighting is suitable for outdoor use?

How does solar lighting work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED lights at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to eight meters, ideal for very shady outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes, the batteries do not charge or hold the power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is no longer working. It is unlikely to be the solar panel itself.

How to recharge solar lights without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the brightness will be less powerful, and the light will last for a shorter time.
