How Do Solar Lights Work?
New-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the light at night. Since these lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Living in a Winter Region?
Although not as convenient, you can still use solar-powered lights, even in a rainy region. We have solar lamps with separate solar panels connected by cables ranging from three to five meters, which are perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you reside in a rainy or winter zone, your solar lights will still work, although they may be less powerful.
My Solar Light is Not Working?
Commonly, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries don’t charge or retain energy properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is very rare for the solar module to be the cause of the issue.
For more information, refer to our maintenance guide.
How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?
Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dim weather or through glass. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights in areas without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and may not last as long.
