How Does Solar Lighting Work?
Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sun exposure, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.
What if You Live in a Winter Region?
Charging solar lights in a rainy region is not as straightforward, but it’s still possible. We offer solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a wire that can range from three to nine meters in length, ideal for areas with limited sunlight. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but at a lower intensity.
My Solar Lamp is Not Working?
Often, the cause of malfunctioning solar lights is the battery. Batteries may not charge properly or retain the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one to quickly identify the issue. It is rare for the solar panel itself to be the problem.
For more information, refer to our maintenance guide.
How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?
Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So, you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter duration.
