What type of outdoor solar lighting?
There are solar energy lamps for every preference and style. Create a customized outdoor space to suit your desires.
Solar path lights: If you want to separate or decorate a pathway in your garden, this is the type of light you need. They are easy to install with their lawn stakes or directly on a flat surface.
Solar wall sconces: If you have dark corners around your house or on your terrace, placing these lights around will provide a sense of security and more clarity. Usually equipped with a motion sensor for optimal self-management. Don’t hesitate to purchase our various models of wall lights.
Solar lamp posts for the patio: Easy to install, solar lamp posts are ideal for enhancing a relaxation area created in your small garden or courtyard. There are various sizes, powers, and mini or large sizes available, depending on your outdoor style.
Solar LED string lights: While most homes install decorative lights during Christmas, you can also use these ornaments to create an authentic garden all year round and welcome your friends. At Solar Lamp, we have different designs, like festoon lights, string lights, Moroccan ball lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar animal lights: If you love a specific animal, you will surely find your delight among the different types of animals offered by lampe-solar.com. You can transform your garden into a radiant forest filled with magnificent creatures. Having animal decorations in your garden can help keep unwanted pests away.
Solar LED lanterns: Lanterns are very useful for illuminating your garden with their soft glow and also make great nightlights. Choose from our extensive range of lanterns for a garden full of joy.
How does solar lighting work?
The next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. As the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives the maximum amount of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
What if my yard is heavily shaded?
It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can be three to five meters long, perfect for dark exteriors. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but their performance may be weaker.
Why is my solar lamp not working?
Most of the time, the reason for malfunctioning solar lights is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries do not charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar lamp is not working. It’s unlikely that the solar energy module itself is the issue.
For more details, refer to our maintenance guide.
How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?
Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a glass surface. So you can recharge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the duration will be shorter.
