How does a solar light work?

Photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. As the lights are powered by sunlight, they should be positioned in a place that receives full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

It’s not as easy, but you can install solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from three to five meters, which is great for a very shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My solar light stopped working?

Commonly, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the cause, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar light without direct sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter period.
