How do solar lamps work?

New generation photovoltaic cells collect sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the light at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in a sunny location, ideally receiving eight to ten hours or more of sunlight per day.

Do you only have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lamps, even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can be extended from one to five meters, ideal for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lamps will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working anymore?

Usually, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately see why your solar lamp is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the problem, but this is highly unlikely.

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lamps outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
