How Do Solar Lights Work?
Solar lights use photovoltaic cells to absorb sunlight during the day and charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. For optimal performance, solar lights should be placed in areas that receive maximum sunlight, ideally for 8-10 hours or more per day.
What if You Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?
While less convenient, solar lights can still be charged even in completely shaded areas. We offer solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a cable, allowing you to place the panel in a sunnier spot away from the light itself. Please note that lights in rainy or winter regions may have reduced performance.
My Solar Light Isn’t Working?
Most often, the issue with malfunctioning solar lights is the battery. If your light isn’t working, try replacing the solar battery with a regular battery to determine if it’s the source of the problem. It is unlikely that the solar panel is the issue.
How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?
Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. This means you can still charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the light may be less powerful and have a shorter duration.
