Which Solar Lamp Should You Choose for Your Garden?
There are solar-powered lamps for every style and preference. You can create an outdoor lounge that meets your needs.
Solar garden stake lights: If you want to define or enhance a path or passage in your garden, this is the type of light you need. They are easy to install with their lawn stakes, which you can simply place on a flat surface.
Solar garden wall lights: If you have dark areas around your apartment or in your yard, installing wall lights around your home will give you a feeling of serenity and increased visibility. They are often sold with motion sensors for optimal management. So, don’t hesitate to order our various types of wall lights.
Solar garden street lights: Easy to install, these garden street lights are ideal for illuminating a relaxation area created in your garden or on your terrace. They come in all models, with varying power and sizes, depending on your outdoor style.
Solar string lights: While most homes install LED string lights during Christmas, you can also combine your decorations to create a suitable garden and welcome your guests all year round. At Solar Lamp®, we have different models of string lights, festoon lights, Moroccan ball lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar animal lights: If you adore a particular animal, you are sure to find your happiness among the different models offered by solar-lamp.com. You can transform your outdoor space into a vibrant forest full of beautiful species. Having animal decorations in your yard can also help repel unwanted pests.
Solar garden lanterns: LED lanterns are very practical for lighting up your terrace with their soft lights, and they are very effective as nightlights. Benefit from our wide range of lanterns for a joyful garden.
How Does Solar Lighting Work?
Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that gets plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Living in a Rainy Area?
It’s not as convenient, but you can still have solar lights, even in a wintry region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to seven meters, which is great for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.
Why Isn’t My Solar Lamp Working?
Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Batteries sometimes do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately see why your solar light is no longer working. The solar panel may also be the cause, but this is very unlikely.
For more details, see our maintenance guide.
How to Charge a Solar Lamp without Sunlight?
Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will not last as long.
