How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells store sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then light up the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy area?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can install solar-powered lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to nine meters, ideal for a highly shaded outdoor space. If you reside in a rainy or wintery area, your solar wall lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Usually, the main cause of lighting malfunction is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar energy module is at fault, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the battery life will be shorter.
