How does a solar lamp work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

It’s not as easy, but you can have solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to eight meters, ideal for heavily shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be dimmer.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Typically, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light isn’t working. It is possible that the solar power module is the problem, but this is very unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker and won’t last as long.
