What Solar Lighting is Suitable for Outdoor Use?
There are solar-powered lamps to suit every taste and shape. Imagine creating an outdoor lounge that meets your needs.
Solar Garden Lights: If you want to separate or enhance a pathway or passage in your garden, this is the type of lamp you need. They are easy to install with their garden stakes or can simply be placed on a flat surface.
Solar Wall Lights: If you have dark corners around your home or yard, installing wall lights will provide you with a sense of security and brightness. They are usually equipped with motion sensors for greater durability. Don’t hesitate to order our various models of wall lights.
Solar Lamp Posts for Gardens: These lamp posts are easy to install and are perfect for illuminating a relaxation area in your garden or courtyard. They come in all shapes and sizes to suit your garden preference.
Solar LED Garden String Lights: While most homes install decorative string lights during Christmas, you can also use them to create a unique garden atmosphere and entertain your guests all year round. At Solar Lamp®, we offer different types of string lights, including festoon lights, Moroccan-inspired lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar Animal Lights: If you have an affinity for a particular animal, you are sure to find your delight among the various models offered by lampe-solar.com. You can transform your terrace into a vibrant forest filled with magnificent wildlife. Having animal decorations in your yard can also help repel pests.
Solar Garden Lanterns: Lanterns are very useful for illuminating your garden with their soft lights and are also essential as night lights. Choose from our extensive list of lanterns to create a joy-filled garden.
How Does Solar Lighting Work?
Next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?
It is not as straightforward, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We offer solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cord that can range from three to ten meters, which is great for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or snowy region, your solar wall lights will still work, although they will be less powerful.
Why Is My Solar Lamp Not Working?
Usually, the reason for your lights not functioning properly is the rechargeable battery. It is common for batteries not to charge or hold power as they should. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar lamp is no longer working. It is highly unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.
For more information, consult our maintenance guide.
How to Recharge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?
Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. Therefore, you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter duration.
