How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are solar-powered, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar lights, even in a winter region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from three to six meters, ideal for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Often, the culprit of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly determine why your solar light is not functioning. It is rare for the solar module to be the cause.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be dimmer and last for a shorter period.
