What solar light should you have for your garden?

How does a solar light work?

Organic photovoltaic cells collect solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives ample sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours a day or more.

What if you have a heavily shaded yard?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still use solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from one to six meters, which works great for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work but with less power.

My solar light is not working?

Commonly, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is no longer working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the problem, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So, you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter duration.
