How does a solar lamp work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can be three to eight meters long, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter climate, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working anymore?

Most often, the reason your lights are not functioning properly is due to the battery. It frequently happens that the batteries don’t charge or hold the charge anymore. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately find out why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the problem.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter period of time.
