Which solar light is right for your garden?

How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a cable that can range from three to ten meters, ideal for dark outdoor areas. If you reside in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still function but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working anymore?

Often, the reason for a malfunctioning light is the battery. It’s common for batteries not to charge or retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It’s also possible that the solar module is the cause, but this is very unlikely.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less strong and last for a shorter period of time.
