What solar light to have for your garden?

How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the lightbulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Most often, the cause of a malfunction in your lamps is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is causing the issue, but that is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the brightness will be weaker and will last for a shorter period of time.
