What outdoor solar lighting do I need?

How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that gets plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I live in a rainy region?

It’s not as simple, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can vary from two to seven meters, ideal for a very shady outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar light isn’t working anymore?

Commonly, the cause of a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the issue, but this is unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period.
