How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that gets full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if You Have a Very Shaded Courtyard?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still use rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from two to ten meters, making it perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but may be dimmer.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working?

Most often, the cause of malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a normal one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the issue, but that is less likely.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dim weather or through a glass window. So, you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker, and the light will last for a shorter period.
