How Do Solar Lights Work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in a location that receives the maximum amount of sunlight, ideally 8 to 10 hours or more per day.

Your Courtyard is Shaded? No Problem!

It may be a bit more challenging, but you can still install solar lights, even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire, ranging from three to ten meters long, perfect for shaded areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still function, although they may be less powerful.

My Solar Light Stopped Working?

Most often, the culprit for a malfunctioning solar light is the battery. It’s common for rechargeable batteries to not charge or hold a charge. A good tip is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one to determine if that’s the issue. It is highly unlikely that the solar panel module is defective.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period of time.
