How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Rainy Region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from three to ten meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My Solar Lamp Isn’t Working?

Most often, the cause of malfunctioning lamps is the battery. It is common for the batteries not to charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar lamp is not functioning. It is unlikely that the solar panel is the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful, and the duration will be shorter.
