How do solar lights work?

Next-generation solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then activate the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you live in a winter region?

It may not be as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with separate solar modules connected by a cable that can range from three to six meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

My solar light is not working anymore?

Often, the most common cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a standard battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel itself is the issue, although this is less likely.

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter period.
