How does a solar lamp work?

The photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that receives full sun ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you only have a shaded courtyard?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to ten meters, ideal for a dark exterior. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they will be weaker.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Commonly, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold the charge. It is less likely that the solar module is the cause, but still possible.
