What solar light should I choose for my garden?

How does a solar light work?

The new generation of photovoltaic cells absorbs sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are solar-powered, they should be placed in an area that receives full sunlight for at least eight to ten hours per day.

What if I don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We offer solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable, with a range of one to ten meters, perfect for shaded areas. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

Why is my solar light not working?

Most of the time, the issue lies with the battery. Sometimes, the rechargeable batteries do not charge or retain the charge. The best advice we can give is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light isn’t working. It is very rare for the solar panel module to be the cause of the problem.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark or through glass. So, you can recharge your solar lights outside of direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light may not last as long.
