How do solar lamps work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives a lot of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you have a very shady courtyard?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to seven meters, making them ideal for very dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work but will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Most often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is also possible for the solar energy module to be the cause, but this is very unlikely.

How do you charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dim or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful, and it will not last as long.
