How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells accumulate solar energy during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that gets a lot of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It may not be as convenient, but you can have rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a detached solar module connected by a cable that can range from two to six meters, perfect for highly shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Usually, the common cause of malfunction in your lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is very unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker, and it will last for a shorter time.
