How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

During the day, the photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives maximum sun exposure, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What If I Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable, which can range from one to ten meters, perfect for an outdoor area with limited sunlight. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function but with reduced brightness.

My Solar Lamp Is Not Working Anymore?

Usually, the main reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly see why your solar light stopped working. It’s unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather conditions or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sun exposure. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light will last for a shorter duration.
