How does solar lighting work?

New-generation solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. As the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you have a very shady courtyard?

It is not as convenient, but you can install solar lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can vary from two to ten meters, perfect for a shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Often, the cause of a malfunctioning light is the battery. It frequently happens that the batteries do not charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is possible that the solar power module is causing the issue, but this is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even during cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker, and the duration will be shorter.
