How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It may not be as convenient, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to eight meters, making them ideal for dark outdoor areas. If you reside in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Most often, the cause of malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries do not charge or hold power effectively. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one and you will quickly determine why your solar lamp is no longer working. It is highly unlikely that the solar panel is at fault.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a glass surface. Therefore, you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and last for a shorter period of time.
