How does a solar light work?

The new generation of photovoltaic cells stores sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives the maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to six meters, which is great for a very shaded outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar energy panel to be the cause.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter time.
