How Does a Solar Light Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they must be placed in a location that receives the maximum amount of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do You Live in a Winter Region?

It is not as straightforward, but you can install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can vary from three to five meters, perfect for illuminating a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My Solar Light is Not Working Anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning solar lights is the battery. It often happens that batteries do not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar energy panel is the problem, but this is very unlikely.

How to Recharge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and last for a shorter time.
