How does solar lighting work?

The new generation of photovoltaic cells absorbs sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to ten meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Usually, the cause of a malfunction in your lamps is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the problem, but this is very rare.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules can still absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
