How do solar lights work?

New generation photovoltaic cells collect sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as easy, but you can have solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to five meters, ideal for a heavily shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they will be weaker.

My solar light is not working?

Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for batteries to not charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery and you will immediately see why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar energy module is the cause, but this is very rare.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the light will be weaker and won’t last as long.
