How does a solar lamp work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since solar lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives a lot of sunlight, ideally 8 to 10 hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from three to nine meters, great for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My solar light is not working anymore?

Typically, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly determine why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar module is the issue, but this is very unlikely.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker and the duration will be shorter.
