How does a solar lamp work?

New-generation photovoltaic cells capture solar energy during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a spot that gets full sun exposure, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to nine meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Often, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the rechargeable battery. The batteries often fail to charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar lamp is not working. It is very rare for the solar energy panel itself to be the problem.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and last for a shorter duration.
