How does a solar lamp work?

Solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as easy, but you can install rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire, which can be two to ten meters long, ideal for very dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My solar lamp is not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately see why your solar light is not working anymore. It is possible that the solar panel is the issue, but this is very unlikely.

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
