How Do Solar Lights Work?

Solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Rainy Region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to six meters, perfect for very dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function, but they will be less powerful.

Why is My Solar Lamp Not Working?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is to blame, but this is very unlikely.

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will not last as long.
