Which solar light to choose for your garden?

How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to five meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still function, but they may be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Commonly, the culprit behind malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries either do not charge or cannot hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the issue.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window, so you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period of time.
