Which Solar Lamp to Choose for Your Garden?
There are solar lights for every taste and occasion. You can create an outdoor lounge tailored to your needs.
Powerful Solar Path Lights: If you want to define or decorate a path or walkway in your garden, this is the type of lighting fixture you need. They are convenient to plant with their garden stakes or can be directly fixed on a flat surface.
Solar Wall Sconce: If you have dark areas around your apartment or in your courtyard, placing these lights around your home will give you a sense of security and brightness. Usually sold with a motion sensor for more sustainable self-management. So don’t hesitate to use our various types of wall lights.
Solar Lamp Post: Commonly easy to install, wireless solar lamp posts are ideal for lighting up a relaxation area created in your garden or on your terrace. There are various sizes, powerful options, mini or large dimensions depending on your garden preferences.
Solar Garden String Lights: While most households install decorative lights at Christmas, you can also use these decorations to create a unique garden and welcome your guests all year round. At Lampe Solar®, we have different sizes of festoon, string lights, Moroccan balls, and copper wire lights.
Solar Animals for the Garden: If you love a particular animal, you are sure to find your satisfaction among the different models offered by Lampe Solar. You can transform your terrace into an enchanting forest full of amazing wildlife. Having animal decorations in your garden can also help deter pests.
Solar LED Lantern: LED lanterns are very useful for illuminating your garden with their soft lights and they are also advantageous as nightlights. Use our wide range of LED lanterns for a garden full of joy.
How Does a Solar Lamp Work?
Photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the lamp at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that gets plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Living in a Rainy Region?
It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from two to nine meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function, but they will be weaker.
Why is My Solar Lamp Not Working Anymore?
Usually, the reason for a malfunctioning solar lamp is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar lamp is not working. It is also possible that the solar module is at fault, but this is very rare.
For more details, see our maintenance guide.
How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?
Solar panels still absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and will not last as long.
