How does solar lighting work?

During the day, the photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a wintery region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to ten meters, which is great for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintery region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Often, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar energy module is causing the issue, but this is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and it will not last as long.
