How do solar lights work?

Photovoltaic cells harness sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that gets plenty of sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from two to nine meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you reside in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Typically, the cause of a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries fail to charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel may be the issue, but this is very rare.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So, you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter time.
