How does a solar lamp work?

The photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

It’s not as simple, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from three to six meters, great for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they will be weaker.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Commonly, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is unlikely.
