How does a solar lamp work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire, ranging from one to ten meters, perfect for areas with no access to direct sunlight. If you live in a rainy or snowy region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be dimmer.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Usually, the most common reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar lamp isn’t working. It is very rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the problem.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. Therefore, you can charge your solar lamps in areas without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter period of time.
