How does a solar light work?

Organic photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that gets plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to nine meters, great for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar light is not working anymore?

Typically, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is also causing the issue, but this is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less and will last for a shorter time.
